Its a race against time!

As the subject suggests, it is a race against time to secure a job before we move out of our current residence at the end of next week. This week has been very promising with a lot more movement on the job front. Thanks for everyone's well wishes and I am sure that we will not come home soon to some people's delight.

Pictures above are us having an afternoon tea in Marylebone at a nice cafe called La Fromagerie. Mmm.. As the name suggests, they have a massive cheese room!

Oxford, KFC and Silverstone

On our way back from Stratford-Upon-Avon we stopped by a few places including Oxford, KFC and Silverstone!

Must comment, the KFC is finger lickin good, but the chips in Australia are better. Though, I am still missing some Redlea goodness!

Our Stratford-Upon-Avon - Part 2

Our lil cottage that seemed to resemble the places you see in storybooks. Hmm.. we're not in Kansas anymore Marisa!

Our Stratford-Upon-Avon - Part 1

We went on a very enjoyable road trip travelling across the English countryside in my Fiat Punto to visit Shakespeare's birthplace, Anne Hathaway (Shakespeare's Mrs), Mary Arden (Shakespeare's Mum) and the rest of Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, and Covent Garden

Went for a big walk today to keep fit and also do some research for which shows, and also the best prices on the West End!

Now time for us to prepare for our road trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon! Woohoo

This is the Week!

This is the week where we will find work! I know it!

It is coming towards the make or break time for whether we stay in London or not.

Do you ever just get that feeling that it feels so right? Well, it feels so.. right that we stay here and I just know that it is going to happen!

Buckingham Palace, Harrods

As we wait around for calls for job interviews in the depression that we are in, we decided to do the touristy thing and walk via Hyde Park and check out Buckingham Palace and Harrods! Also including a pic for the boys of the cars that are on our street

The Best Sausages Ever!

Bangers and Mash for dinner. Sausages were Tesco's Finest Pork and Apple sausages. Yummmy! Good taste, good texture = 10/10. Marisa's comment "I think I am addicted!"

We found a place to live!

After a walk in Hyde Park, coffee in Notting Hill, and one cheesy smile, we finally found a place to live for the next month. It is in a quaint old street in Kensington, about 5 minutes from Notting Hill.

It is a feeling of both sweet & sour (not the pork) as we finally got a place, but the costs here are ridiculous. Time to knuckle down and find work! wish us luck!
