Leaving Marseille, we headed towards our next stay in Carcassonne. With stopovers in Montpellier for lunch and also a couple of chateau's for wine tasting we made it into Carcassonne early evening to catch the sunset over the castle. As the unseasonably brisk breeze came in, it was ideal to tuck into the warming and comforting cassoulet dish which is a slow cooked bean stew. Carcassonne is absolutely amazing as it is a boy's dream to see and walk around a castle that looked and felt like a castle that you would dream of.
